15.56.010 - Barriers.¶

Every swimming pool, hot tub, and/or spa (constructed after September 7, 1993) shall be protected by barriers to prevent unauthorized entry into the pool, hot tub and/or spa. Such barriers shall be of the type described in, and otherwise comply with the provisions of, Appendix Chapter 4 of the California Uniform Building Code, 2001 Edition, or successor provision, and shall also be subject to the approval of the architecture and design review board, if applicable.
