5.22.500. Wireless telecommunications system operators.

All wireless telecommunications system operators shall comply with all provisions of Article I. All wireless telecommunications system operators shall obtain a franchise from the city pursuant to Article II unless such companies are exempt from franchising requirements pursuant to state or federal law. A wireless telecommunications system operator shall not be deemed exempt from the franchise requirement of Article II unless and until it provides documentation of such exemption to the satisfaction of the city.
