5.22.400. Telephone companies.¶

All telephone companies shall comply with all provisions of Article I. All telephone companies shall obtain a franchise from the city pursuant to Article II unless such companies are exempt from franchising requirements pursuant to state or federal law. A telephone company shall not be deemed exempt from the franchise requirement of Article II unless and until it provides documentation of such exemption to the satisfaction of the city.
