§ 5.08.010. Disclosure of Mello-Roos districts, street light assessment districts,…¶
A. Upon the sale of a new home, which is subject to a Mello-Roos district, street light assessment district, a landscape maintenance district, or special assessment district, any person engaged in the business of real estate sales shall disclose the annual costs of the district to the buyer and the existence of any alternative to pay off those costs at the time of the purchase of the property.
B. This disclosure shall take place before any binding commitment is made either by the seller to sell the property to a specific buyer or by the buyer to purchase the property. The disclosure shall be made on a form which will be available from the city.
