§ 12.30.010. Discharge of debris on streets or sidewalks.

A. No person shall wilfully throw, deposit, sweep, blow or rake any waste matter onto any street, curb, portion of street, or sidewalk.

B. "Waste matter" means discarded, used or leftover substances, including but not limited to garbage, trash, refuse, paper, containers, packaging or construction materials, leaves, grass clippings and garden debris.

C. Any person violating any of the provisions of this chapter is guilty of a misdemeanor and is punishable by a fine of not more than one thousand dollars or an imprisonment in the county jail for a period of not more than six months, or by both such fine and imprisonment.
