Fullerton Municipal Code Ch. 3.84 Group Use of Public Parks and School District Property

No company, society, organization or group of individuals of more than 25 persons shall hold or conduct any organized activity, including, but not limited to, picnics, celebrations, services, exercise or athletic event at any public park or school district property which is designated as requiring a permit for such activity without first obtaining a use permit from the Parks and Recreation Department and paying the appropriate use fee as established by resolution of the City Council.

Any violation of the provisions of this chapter shall be deemed to be an infraction and punishable as such, notwithstanding the fact that at the discretion of the City Attorney, the violation of any section of this chapter may be filed as a misdemeanor. The complaint charging such violation shall specify whether the violation is a misdemeanor or an infraction. Each day a violation of any provision of this chapter shall continue shall be a new and separate violation.
