§ 14.15.010 UNIFORM CODE FOR THE ABATEMENT OF DANGEROUS BUILDINGS ADOPTED.¶
That certain document, one copy of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk entitled “Uniform Code for the Abatement of Dangerous Buildings, 1997 Edition,” published by the International Conference of Building Officials, 5360 South Workman Mill Road, Whittier, California, and everything contained therein is hereby adopted by reference in accordance with Cal. Gov’t Code § 50022.2, as part of this chapter, except that § 205.1 of said Abatement of Dangerous Buildings Code, 1997 Edition, is adopted as amended in this chapter.

§ 14.15.020 TITLE.¶
This chapter and said California Abatement of Dangerous Buildings Code, 1997 Edition, as adopted by this chapter, shall be known as the “Fullerton Abatement of Dangerous Buildings Code.” All references to “this code” contained in said Abatement of Dangerous Buildings Code, 1997 Edition, shall be deemed to refer to this chapter. Each paragraph or section number contained in said Abatement of Dangerous Buildings Code, 1997 Edition, shall be deemed to be a subdivision of this chapter. For example, “§ 102” of said Abatement of Dangerous Buildings Code, 1997 Edition, shall be deemed to be “Subdivision 102 of § 14.15.020 of the Fullerton Municipal Code,” and may be referred to as “§ 102 of the Fullerton Abatement of Dangerous Buildings Code.”

§ 14.15.030 AMENDMENT TO § 205.1.¶
Section 205.1. of said 1997 Abatement of Dangerous Buildings Code is hereby amended to read as follows.
Section 205.1. Appeals.
In order to provide for final interpretation of the provisions of this code and to hear appeals provided for hereunder, there is hereby established a Board of Appeals with the Planning Commission consisting of seven members who are not employees of the City to act as the Board if so directed by City Council. The Director of Community and Economic Development shall be an ex officio member of and shall act as Secretary to said Board. The Board shall be appointed by the governing body and shall hold office at its pleasure. The Board shall adopt reasonable rules and regulations for conducting its business and shall render all decisions and findings in writing to the appellant with a copy to the Building Official. Appeals to the Board shall be processed in accordance with the provisions contained in § 501 of this code. Copies of all rules or regulations adopted by the Board shall be delivered to the Director of Community and Economic Development, who shall make them freely accessible to the public.
