2.22.010 - Offices consolidated.

Pursuant to the authority vested in the board of supervisors by virtue of Section 24300, subsection (p) of the California Government Code and Section 12.1 of the Fresno County Charter, the duties of the county offices of agricultural commissioner and director of weights and measures, respectively, are consolidated into one office to be known as agricultural commissioner/sealer of the county; the duties of which, including those performed in an ex officio capacity, shall be performed by one person appointed to such office. Whenever the terms "agricultural commissioner," "director of weights and measures," or "sealer" appear in this ordinance code, it shall be construed to mean agricultural commissioner/sealer.
