17.12.010 - General plan.¶
The preparation and evaluation of subdivision maps shall be guided by the principals and standards of the general plan and elements thereof with respect to population densities and distribution, and the type and extent of roads, highways and other utilities and public facilities, etc.

17.12.020 - Precise plans and precise plan lines.¶
Subdivision maps shall conform to the precise plans for streets, public areas and other projects adopted by the board of supervisors.

17.12.030 - Zoning ordinance.¶
Subdivision maps shall conform to the zoning ordinance of the county with respect to uses of land, lot sizes dimensions and other applicable regulations provided, however, that where Chapters 17.04—17.60 impose higher standards, the requirements of the Chapters 17.04—17.60 shall prevail. When a proposed use or development of land requires a zoning reclassification, conditional use permit, director review and approval, or variance the application therefor shall be considered concurrently with the tentative subdivision map.
