6-4.101 - Title.

This chapter shall be known and may be cited as the "Water Law of the City of Fowler".

6-4.102 - Purpose.

The provisions of this chapter are intended to provide certain minimum standards, provisions, and requirements for the design, methods of construction, and use of materials in water facilities and water service connections installed, altered, or repaired on and after March 17, 1976. The provisions of this chapter shall not apply retroactively and, in the event of an alteration or repair made on or after March 17, 1976, the provisions of this chapter shall apply only to the new materials and methods used therein.

6-4.103 - Scope.

The rules and regulations set forth in this chapter respecting water construction, the provision of water, and the connections to the water supply, storage, and distribution facilities of the City are hereby adopted, and all work in respect thereto shall be performed as required in this chapter and not otherwise.
