6-5.01 - Adoption of Water Well Standards.¶
For the purposes of governing all matters relating to the construction, reconstruction, and destruction of water wells in the City, Chapter II and Appendices E, F, and G of Bulletin No. 74, entitled "Water Well Standards", of the Department of Water Resources of the State, three (3) copies of which bulletin are on file in the office of the City Clerk for public record and inspection, is hereby adopted by reference and made a part of this chapter as though set forth in this chapter in full.

6-5.02 - Definitions.¶
For the purposes of this chapter, unless otherwise apparent from the context, certain words and phrases used in said Water Well Standards and in this chapter are defined as follows:
(a) "Community water supply well" shall mean City wells in the City.
(b) "Enforcing agency" shall mean the Health Department of the County or other local, regional, or State agencies duly authorized to administer laws or regulations pertaining to the construction of water wells.
