4-3.201 - Storage and possession.

Except as otherwise provided in Section 4-3.202 of this article, it shall be unlawful for any person to keep, store, or possess any gasoline, kerosene, butane, propane, or inflammable liquid customarily used for combustion in a quantity in excess of one gallon upon the premises of any person; provided, however, such inflammable liquids may be stored in suitable containers at least two (2) feet under the surface of the earth.

4-3.202 - Exceptions.

The provisions of Section 4-3.201 of this article shall not apply to any commercial establishment regularly handling such inflammable liquids in an approved manner, nor shall said provisions apply to any person maintaining such liquids in any area classified in the zoning provisions of this Code as an agricultural area.
