4-8.01 - Definitions.¶
For purposes of applying this section, the term "roller device" means roller skates, roller blades, skateboards, coasters, scooters, toy vehicles, or any similar device upon which a person may be propelled.

4-8.02 - Limitation on use of roller devices.¶
No person shall use a roller device upon any public or private street, parking lot, parking structure, sidewalk, or walkway in the City in such a manner as to interfere with pedestrian or vehicular traffic.

4-8.03 - Prohibition on use of roller devices on sidewalks in commercial zones.¶
No person shall use a roller device upon any public or private sidewalk within any commercial or business district within the City.

4-8.04 - Prohibition on use of roller devices where posted.¶
No person shall use a roller device upon any public or private street, parking lot, parking structure, sidewalk, or walkway in the City which is open to the public for public or commercial purposes where such street, parking lot, parking structure, sidewalk, or walkway is posted by the owner thereof indicating that such use is prohibited pursuant to this section.

4-8.05 - Prohibition on use of roller devices within drainage channels.¶
No person shall use a roller device upon any drainage channel, ditch, culvert, or other improved storm water control system which is either: (1) situated within a public right-of-way or is owned or controlled by public entity; or (2) situated upon private property which is posted by the owner thereof indicating that such use is prohibited pursuant to this section.

4-8.06 - Prohibition on use of roller devices at school facilities.¶
Except for school sanctioned events authorized by a school site administrator, no person shall use a roller device on any property owned by any school district which has a policy of prohibiting such use and displays a sign at the main entrance to the property informing visitors of the policy.

4-8.07 - Violations: Penalties.¶
Any person violating the provisions of this chapter shall be guilty of an infraction and punishable in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 2, of Title 1.
