Fairfield Municipal Code § 2.23 Appointment of members

The members of the planning commission shall be appointed by the mayor with the approval of the city council. No member of the planning commission may be appointed to the architectural approval committee or the civic arts and leisure services commission during his or her term of office except as provided in Sec. 2.23.1. but such member may serve on one other city committee or task force.

§ 2.23.1. Advisory member.

The planning commission shall appoint one of its members to serve as an advisory, non-voting member of the architectural approval committee for a term which shall be concurrent with that member’s term of office on the planning commission.
