§ 2.26. Office created and established.

The office of the director of finance of the city is hereby created and established.

§ 2.27. Transfer of certain duties of city clerk to director of finance.

All of the financial and accounting duties of the city clerk described in California Government Code sections 40802, et seq., and 37203, et seq., are hereby transferred to the director of finance pursuant to California Government Code sections 40805.5 and 37209.

§ 2.28. Powers and duties generally.

The director of finance shall perform all of the accounting and financial duties of the city clerk described in California Government Code sections 40802, et seq., and 37203, et seq. and any other duties as described in this Code or determined by the city manager.

§ 2.29. Jurisdiction of city manager.

The director of finance shall be under the direction of the city manager.
