Sec. 12.04.010. - Road district established.

Pursuant to Streets and Highways Code § 1020, and for the purpose of levying a local property tax to implement other funds available for improvement and maintenance of County highways, the boundaries of the five road districts previously established are changed to create one road district to consist of all the unincorporated territory of the County.

Sec. 12.04.020. - Administration.

The administration of the County highways in the County is vested in the Director of the Department of Transportation, who shall at all times be under the direction and supervision of the County Board of Supervisors.

Sec. 12.04.030. - Road Commissioner defined.

Wherever the term "Road Commissioner" is used in this chapter, it shall, after the effective date of the ordinance from which this chapter is derived, mean "Director of the Department of Transportation."
