8.32.010 - Adoption and amendment of provisions.¶
Chapter 414-4 (Approved Water Supply Systems) as set forth in the county ordinance code is adopted by reference, with those changes, additions and deletions made from time to time by the county board of supervisors, except that Section 414-4.241, paragraph (a) Tentative Maps, shall read as follows:
Tentative Maps—A copy of any submitted tentative subdivision map, when the proposed source of domestic water is not the East Bay Municipal Utility District, shall be forwarded to and filed with the health officer for investigation and approval of said domestic supply. The tentative subdivision map shall show proposed provisions for sewage disposal, the approved source of water, the number of lots, the size of each lot, and contour lines at intervals of five feet or less. The city shall not approve a tentative subdivision map where the proposed source of water is from wells unless the health officer has consented in writing to the use of such source.
