Sec. 24-95. - Boundary surveys.

When a map is submitted pursuant only to the requirements of the State Land Surveyors Act (chapter 15, division 3 of the Business and Professions Code), the city engineer shall check the latest adopted county assessment roll to verify that the record of survey does not show the division of a unit or of contiguous units into additional parcels. If the record of survey does show such a division, the city engineer shall notify the surveyor or engineer that the survey cannot be recorded until documentation is submitted that shows that the subdivision complies with the Subdivision Map Act and this chapter. If it appears that the provisions of the Subdivision Map Act or this chapter have been violated, the city engineer shall report such violation to the community development director for enforcement.
