10.12.010 - Findings of the director of public works.¶
The director of public works of the city has caused a traffic survey to be made of existing and projected traffic conditions at the intersection of University Avenue and Bay Road in the city. On the basis of this survey, the director of public works has recommended the implementation of certain traffic and pedestrian control measures at the intersection. The city council finds it necessary and desirable that the measures should be implemented as recommended by the director of public works, and as embodied in Section 10.12.020 of this article.

10.12.020 - Traffic control measures at the intersection of University Avenue and Bay Road.¶
The below-listed traffic and pedestrian control measures shall be implemented at the intersection of University Avenue and Bay Road:
A. Parking is prohibited on the south side of University Avenue between Bay Road and Cooley Avenue. The director of public works shall cause the appropriate curb to be painted red.
B. Parking is prohibited on the west side of Bay Road between 1592 Bay Road and University Avenue. The director of public works shall cause the appropriate curb to be painted red.
C. The director of public works shall erect a thirty-five (35) mph speed limit sign on eastbound University Avenue between Bay Road and Weeks Street.
D. Parking shall be restricted along the north side of University Avenue between Bay Road and Weeks Street. The director of public works shall make this area a one-half hour parking zone.
