Duarte Municipal Code Ch. 15.09 Very High Fire Hazard Severity Zone Regulations

This chapter shall be known as the very high fire hazard severity zone regulations and is adopted pursuant to the requirements of Government Code Section 51175 et seq.

Pursuant to Government Code Section 51178, the City hereby designates the Fire Hazard Severity Zones as recommended by the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection. The map entitled "City of Duarte Fire Hazard Severity Zones" designates these zones and is hereby incorporated by reference. This map is retained on file at the City and at the Office of the State Fire Marshal.

Whenever a more restrictive standard is set forth on any of the city's codes or state law, the more restrictive standard shall apply in all cases.
