§ 7102.6. SAME: EXCAVATIONS.

No person shall make, or cause to be made, any excavation, or fill, in, over, along, or through any highway within the City. (Added by Ord. 850, adopted 5-12-87)

§ 7102.6.2. SAME: SAME: EXEMPTIONS.¶

Excluded from the requirement of obtaining a permit in advance of any excavation shall be owners or operators of underground facilities who are called upon to repair or shut off their facilities in situations which may endanger the public health, safety, or welfare; provided such owner or operator obtains a proper permit on the next business day following the incident. (Added by Ord. 850, adopted 5-12-87)
