ABATEMENT OF DANGEROUS BUILDINGS CODE FOR THE CITY OF DOWNEY
§ 8501. UNIFORM CODE FOR THE ABATEMENT OF DANGEROUS BUILDINGS ADOPTED.¶
The Uniform Code for the Abatement of Dangerous Buildings, 1997 Edition, of the International Conference of Building Officials hereby is adopted in its entirety as the Abatement of Dangerous Buildings Code of the City of Downey together with the amendments, additions, deletions and exceptions set forth in this Chapter 6.

§ 8502. CHAPTER 1 DELETED.¶
Chapter 1 of the Uniform Code for the Abatement of Dangerous Buildings hereby is deleted in its entirety. All administrative, permitting and related requirements of said Chapter 1 of the Uniform Code for the Abatement of Dangerous Buildings shall be governed by Chapter 1 of this Article VIII.
