Section 100. NAME.¶

The municipal corporation now existing and known as the City of Downey shall remain and continue to exist as a municipal corporation under its present name of "City of Downey."

Section 200. BOUNDARIES.¶

The boundaries of the City shall be the boundaries as established at the time this Charter takes effect, and as such boundaries may be changed thereafter from time to time in the manner authorized by law.
