Sec. 2.24.010. - Terms "officer or employee" defined.

For purposes of this chapter, the term "officer or employee" means:

(1) Any person employed as a permanent, probationary, full-time, part-time, temporary or seasonal employee by the city, including any employees subject to the direction of the city manager who are paid wholly or partially by federal or state funds;

(2) Any member of any board, commission or committee appointed by the mayor or city council of the city; or

(3) Any member of the city council.

Sec. 2.24.020. - Political activities prohibited during working hours.

No officer or employee of the city shall participate in political activities of any kind during their city working hours.
