5.49.010 - Definitions.

"Debris box service" means the business by any entity of collecting solid waste or recyclables in larger than forty-five gallon containers. This shall include collection from "roll-off" containers, and/or "compactors," or any other such solid waste hauling from larger than residential size garbage cans.

5.49.020 - Business license required.

Any person conducting such business as defined under Section 5.49.010 within the boundaries of the city shall be required to obtain a business license. All such business license requirements under this Title 5 shall apply to such businesses.

5.49.030 - License tax schedule for debris box service providers.

In lieu of the license tax schedule under Section 5.16.040 the following license tax shall apply to debris box service providers:

A. A license tax equal to twelve percent of gross receipts earned from business within the city shall apply to debris box service providers.

B. In no such case shall the annual business license tax be less than that minimum amount provided for all entities doing business in the city under Section 5.16.040A.

C. Debris box service providers shall be required to keep such books and records as are necessary in order to properly record those gross receipts derived from providing debris box services within the city. Such books and records shall be made available for inspection as required in this Title 5.

D. Business license taxes for debris box service providers shall be due on the same schedule and in the same manner as all other business license taxes provided for under this Title 5.
