Part 11 — California Environmental Quality Act Implementation

The director of community development is responsible for making the CEQA determination of Public Resources Code Section 21080.1. The CEQA determination decision will be made within the timeframe permitted by Public Resources Code Section 21080.2. When the director of community development determines that a project is exempt from CEQA, their determination initiates the project approval or disapproval timeline given in California Government Code Section 65950(a)(5).
