2.18.010 - Established—Purpose.¶
There is established the office of the zoning administrator to promote the public health, safety, and welfare; to further the objectives of the zoning plan; to reduce the time consumed in processing routine applications for various permits; and to relieve the planning commission of certain routine functions so that it may give its attention to long-range planning.

2.18.020 - Appointment.¶
The zoning administrator shall be the director of planning, except that the director may delegate another person as acting zoning administrator in the director's absence.

2.18.030 - Duties.¶
The zoning administrator shall have the power to approve, conditionally approve, or deny applications for certain variances, use permits, and design review approval as described in Title 18 and shall have such other functions as described in Title 18.

2.18.040 - Fees.¶
Applications for review by the zoning administrator shall be accompanied by a fee which shall be established and adopted by the town council from time to time by resolution.
