10.60.010 - Increase of local limits.

It is determined upon the basis of an engineering and traffic survey that a speed greater than twenty-five miles per hour will facilitate the orderly movement of vehicular traffic and will be reasonable and safe upon the following streets or portions thereof which otherwise would be subject to a prima facie limit of twenty-five miles per hour. Therefore, it is declared that the prima facie speed limit shall be as set forth in this section on those streets or portions of streets designated in this section when signs are erected giving notice thereof:

10.60.020 - Decrease of local limits.

It is determined that upon the basis of an engineering and traffic survey, the limit of sixty-five miles per hour is more than is reasonable or safe upon the streets or portions of streets designated in this section, and it is declared that the prima facie speed limit shall be set forth as follows when signs are erected giving notice thereof:

10.60.030 - Regulation of speed by traffic signals.

The town engineer is authorized to regulate the timing of traffic signals so as to permit the movement of traffic in an orderly and safe manner at speeds slightly at variance from the speeds otherwise applicable within the district to the street or portion thereof, or at intersections, and shall erect appropriate signs giving notice thereof.

10.60.040 - Decrease on narrow streets.

It is determined upon the basis of an engineering and traffic survey that the prima facie speed limit of twenty-five miles per hour on the following streets or portions thereof found to be within a business or residence district is more than is reasonable and safe. Therefore it is declared that the prima facie speed limit shall be as set forth in this section on those streets or portions of streets designated in this section when signs are erected giving notice thereof:
