The California Wildland-Urban Interface Code, 2025 Edition, California Code of Regulations, Title 24, Part 7, as published by the California Building Standards Commission, based on the 2024 International Wildland-Urban Interface Code with California amendments, is adopted and incorporated by reference herein as the City of Coronado Wildland-Urban Interface Code for the purpose of prescribing minimum regulations for the safeguarding of life and property from wildIre hazards in areas adjacent to wildland vegetation, including but not limited to defensible space, building construction methods for exterior wildIre exposure, access for emergency responders, water supplies and vegetation management.
