15.44.010 Requirement.¶
Public convenience and necessity require that all buildings in the city shall be numbered.

15.44.020 Designation of numbers.¶
It shall be the duty of the Public Works Director, upon application, to designate a number for any building within the city in accordance with the system of numbering prepared and maintained by the City Engineer and on file in the office of the Director of Public Works.

15.44.030 Owner responsibility.¶
It shall be the duty of the owner of each building, secondary unit or other structure that is served by a separate utility meter in the city to obtain from the Superintendent of Streets the correct address number for each of the buildings and provide approved address identification in accordance with the requirements of the Fire Code, Building Code, and/or Residential Code.
