Sec. 2-1.601. - City Council term limits.¶

Effective with the November 2018 Council election, no person shall serve as a member of the City Council for more than two (2) consecutive four-year terms, either by election or appointment. Following a minimum two-year absence, a new two (2) consecutive four-year term limit shall apply.
