Sec. 2-1.301. - Appointments to fill vacancies on the Council.¶

Any person appointed to fill a vacancy on the Council shall hold office only until the next regularly scheduled election to fill vacancies on the Council. At such election, if the term to which the appointee was appointed has ended, the election shall be for a four (4) year term. If the term has not yet ended, the vacancy shall be filled only for the unexpired two (2) year term remaining.
