2.20.010 - Offices and positions.¶
The offices and positions in the city employment, other than those created or established by state law or by this code, shall be fixed and established by resolution of the city council.

2.20.020 - Compensation.¶
The salaries and compensation of officers and employees of the city shall be as fixed and determined by resolution of the city council, except those fixed in this title.

2.20.030 - City attorney.¶
The city attorney shall be appointed by and serve at the pleasure of the city council.

2.20.040 - Code enforcement officer.¶
The position of code enforcement officer is created. Such person shall be designated as a public officer whose duties in such capacity shall be limited to the enforcement of the municipal code violations. Such person shall be authorized to make arrests only for the purpose of issuing citations for violations of the municipal code which constitute infractions or misdemeanors. Such person shall be entitled to carry a shield identifying the person as a code enforcement officer for the city. Such shield may only be used in connection with the officer's duties in enforcing the municipal code.

2.20.050 - Business tax officer.¶
The position of business tax officer is created. Such person shall be designated as a public officer whose duties in such capacity shall include the enforcement of Title 5 of this code. Such person shall be authorized to make arrests only for the purpose of issuing citations for violations of Title 5 which constitute infractions or misdemeanors. Such person shall be entitled to carry a shield identifying the person as the business tax officer for the city. Such shield may only be used in connection with the officer's duties in enforcing Title 5 of the Municipal Code.
