10.08.010 - Littering prohibited.¶

No person may throw, discard, place, or deposit litter in any manner or any amount on any public or private property within the city, except in authorized containers or receptacles used for the collection and disposal of solid waste and which are maintained in a manner that litter will be prevented from being carried away or escaping due to the elements. As used in this section, "litter" means any "solid waste" as defined in Chapter 9.04 of this code.
