Editor's note— Ord. No. 17-753 , § 2, adopted October 24, 2017, repealed Ch. 1, §§ 8-1.01—8-1.08, which pertained to building code and derived from the 1998 Code. Said ordinance adopted provisions that were not specifically amendatory. At the editor's discretion, the provisions were included as Ch. 1, § 8-1.01.
Sec. 8-1.01. - Adoption.¶
(a) [Adopted]. The City of California City hereby adopts the 2019 California Code of Regulations Title 24 all 12 parts, and all appendices, without amendments as the City of California City Building and Safety Code, 2019.
(b) References to Prior Code: Upon the effective date, the 2019 City of California City Building and Safety Code will supersede and expressly repeal any and all previous City building codes.
(c) Effective Date: The 2019 City of California City Building and Safety Code will be in force and effective on January 1, 2020.
