12.16.010 - Authorization to lease real property and notice.¶

The city council may lease any city real property on terms that it approves at a duly noticed public meeting.

12.16.020 - Authorization to initiate eviction proceedings upon failure to pay rent.¶

Should any tenant leasing real property from the city fail to pay rent when due, the city manager or city attorney, may immediately cause to be served upon said tenant, a notice to pay rent or quit. Should the tenant fail to comply with this notice, the city attorney may initiate and pursue any and all legal proceedings necessary to evict the tenant, regain possession of the property, and collect the unpaid rent.
