8.20.580 - Well conversions.

The conversion or use of a domestic well, an agriculture well, a monitoring well, a test hole, a geothermal heat exchange well or a cathodic protection well to a source of public drinking water or to an industrial or commercial well is prohibited, unless the conversion is approved by the director, and the well is free of contamination or pollution, and is reconstructed in such a manner that the converted well meets applicable standards for drinking water wells.
