9.25.010. - Rules and regulations.¶
The rules and regulations set forth in this chapter shall govern activities within the Bishop City Park. For the purposes of this chapter, the term "city skate park/track" means the facility within city park provided for skateboarding and in-line skating.

9.25.020. - Uses.¶
A. Except as provided in subsections B and C of this section, only persons using skateboards or skates (including, but not limited to, roller skates, in-line skates and roller blades), bicycles or nonmotorized scooters are allowed on the skate park/track.
B. Parents, (including step-parents), grandparents (including step-grandparents), legal guardians, and all other adult persons having legal authority over a minor who is legally using the skate park/track are allowed on the skate park/track concurrently with such minor's use of the skate park/track.
C. City employees and all other persons authorized by the community services director may be on the skate park/track at any time.

9.25.030. - Days and hours of operation.¶
The city skate park/track shall be open daily according to the following schedule:
Open 8:00 a.m. daily and closed 30 minutes after sunset. Skateboards and skates:

| Wednesdays | 8:00 a.m. until closing. |
| Fridays | 8:00 a.m. until closing. |
| Sundays | 8:00 a.m. until closing. |
The park may be closed from time to time for other special events in the park. No person shall be allowed in the designated skate park/track area outside of the abovementioned hours of operation.

9.25.040. - Closure.¶
The community services director or the director's authorized representative may close the city skate park/track when the director determines that such closure is necessary for the protection of public property, public safety, or other public purposes in the city park.

9.25.050. - Safety requirements.¶
The following safety requirements shall apply to all persons using the skate park/track:
A. Every person using the skate park/track shall wear a helmet, elbow pads and knee pads at all times.
B. Except as set forth in section 9.25.020, no person is allowed on the city skate park/track.
C. No food, drink or glass items are allowed within the skate park/track surface area.
D. Additional obstacles or other materials, including, but not limited to, ramps, jumps and lights, shall not be brought into the skate park/track by any person at any time.
Any person failing to comply with the safety requirements of this chapter will be subject to citation under this chapter.

9.25.060. - Amplified sounds.¶
Amplified sounds are not permitted in the city skate park/track. No person shall wear any headset or earplugs while skating or otherwise using the skate park/track.

9.25.070. - Smoking; prohibited.¶
No person shall light matches or smoke cigars, pipes, cigarettes or any other smoking device in the skate park/track.

9.25.080. - Tagging, graffiti and defacing.¶
Tagging, graffiti and/or any other form of defacing park property is not permitted.

9.25.090. - Violation of rules; additional penalties and violations subject to removal.¶
Any person who violates the rules of this chapter shall, in addition to any other criminal or civil penalties provided by this Code, be subject to removal from the city skate park/track upon order of the community service director or any authorized employee or officer of the city. Failure to leave the park when ordered to do so is a violation of this section. Removal, if ordered, includes exclusion from such area for a 24-hour period. Any person found guilty of a violation of the provisions of this chapter shall be guilty of an infraction and be subject to citation and a fine not to exceed $500.00.

9.25.100. - Provisional remedy.¶
The community services director, or the director's authorized representative, is granted authority to eject from and deny future access to the city skate park/track to any person the director reasonably believes has violated any provision of this chapter until a final determination is made respecting such alleged violation.
