Chapter 2.44 — VALIDATION PROCEDURE

2.44.010. - Designated.

The city, upon a majority vote of the city council, or, in the alternative, in the sole discretion of the city administrator, may utilize the validating procedures contained in part 2, title 10, chapter 9 of the Code of Civil Procedure (Code of Civil Procedure § 860 et seq.) for the purpose of validating any ordinance, resolution, motion, order, proceeding, decision, action, or other matter of any and every kind cognizable by such validation procedures and which may be validated pursuant to Code of Civil Procedure § 860 et seq., whether legislative, judicial or administrative, when such matters concern, effect or touch upon the city, its agencies, officers, employees, agents, servants or representatives.
