1.06.010 - Business hours.¶
All city offices shall be kept open for the transaction of business from eight a.m. until twelve p.m., and from one p.m. until five p.m., every day except Saturdays, Sundays and holidays.

1.06.020 - Declaration of Saturday as a holiday.¶
In accordance with the provisions of Section 24260 of the Government Code of the state of California, every Saturday shall be considered a holiday with the same legal results as in the case of any other holiday, insofar as the business of the city is concerned.

1.06.030 - Inventory reports required.¶
A. Filing. On or before April 10th of each year, each city office or person in charge of any office, department, service or institution of the city whose affairs and funds are under the supervision and control of the city council or for which the council is ex officio the governing body, shall file with the director of finance, according to the procedure prescribed by the council, an inventory under oath, showing in detail all city property in his possession or in his charge at the close of business on the preceding March 31st.

1.06.040 - Custody and use of official city seal and logo.¶
A. The purpose of this chapter is to specify the permissible uses of the official seal and other official insignia of the City of Big Bear Lake.
B. The official seal of the City of Big Bear Lake is as adopted by the mayor and city council on June 24, 1981 by Resolution No. 81-60, which is on file in the office of the city clerk of the City of Big Bear Lake.
C. In addition to that listed above, other official city insignia shall be any other intellectual property owned by the city, including without limitation the names of city facilities.
D. The city clerk of the City of Big Bear Lake shall have custody of the official seal, emblems and all other city logos or insignia (hereinafter "city insignia").
E. The use of city insignia shall be solely for the purposes directly connected with official city business, city-sponsored events, city-produced or authorized merchandise, and for meetings/events organized or sanctioned by the majority of city council or the city manager.
F. The official city seal and logo may not be utilized by any individual or group for campaign purposes.
G. With the exception of uses of city insignia for purposes directly connected with the official business of the City of Big Bear Lake, it shall be a misdemeanor for any person to use or allow to be used any reproduction or facsimile of city insignia, including any design so closely resembling the city insignia as to be likely to cause confusion, or apt to deceive, without first having obtained the permission of the city council therefor.
