§ 17.116.010. The Planning Commission. ¶
The Commission shall administer regulations of this title and amendments thereto and recommend upon all matters involving variances, use permits and zone changes, and perform such other duties as are requested by the City Council. (Prior code § 19-27(a))
§ 17.116.020. The Building Department. ¶
It shall be the duty of the Building Department to enforce the provisions of this title pertaining to the erection, construction, reconstruction, moving, conversion, alteration of or addition to any building, and to enforce the requirements of occupancy in any dwelling, apartment house or other building not otherwise regulated as herein stated. § 17.116.030. The Planning Department. ¶
It shall be the duty of the Planning Department of the City to enforce all the requirements of this title pertaining to land use or occupancy, and it shall be the duty of the Planning Director to cause complaints to be filed against all persons violating any of the requirements of this title whenever any
land use or occupancy may become a public nuisance, unless such action is otherwise delegated as stated herein. (Prior code § 19-27(c))
§ 17.116.040. Permits and Licenses. ¶
All departments, officials and public employees of the City vested with the duty or authority to issue permits or licenses shall conform to the provisions of this title and shall issue no permit or license for uses, buildings or purposes in conflict with the provisions of this title; any such permit or license issued in conflict with provisions of this title shall be null and void. (Prior code § 19-27(d))
§ 17.116.050. Excavation Permits. ¶
No permit for excavation for any building shall be issued before an application has been made for a building permit and such permit has been duly issued. (Prior code § 19-27(e))
