Chapter 9.16 — DISCARDED ICEBOXES AND REFRIGERATORS

Sec. 9.16.010. - Airtight door prohibited.

It is unlawful for any person, firm or corporation to leave outside of any building or dwelling in a place accessible to children, any abandoned, unattended or discarded icebox, refrigerator or any other container of any kind which has an airtight door or lid, or a door or lid equipped with a lock which may not be released for opening from the inside of the icebox, refrigerator or container.

Sec. 9.16.020. - Snap-lock device prohibited.

It is unlawful for any person, firm or corporation to leave outside of any building or dwelling in a place accessible to children any abandoned, unattended or discarded icebox, refrigerator or any other container of any kind which has any door or lid equipped with an airtight snap-lock or other similar closing device, or door or lid from the icebox, refrigerator or container.
