Antioch Municipal Code Art. 1 Uniform Sign Code

That certain document, copies of which are on file in the office of Building Inspection, being marked and designated as the "Uniform Sign Code", 1997 Edition, published by the International Conference of Building Officials, together with its Appendices, is hereby adopted as the code of the city for regulating the design, construction, quality of materials, erection, installation, repair, location, relocation, replacement, addition to, use or maintenance of signs in the city; providing for the issuance of permits and collection of fees therefor; and each and all of the regulations, provisions, conditions and terms of such "Uniform Sign Code", 1997 Edition, are hereby referred to, adopted and made a part hereof as if fully set out in this chapter.

Subsection (c) of § 103 of said Sign Code is hereby deleted.

Section 304 of said Sign Code is hereby amended to read as follows:

Sec. 304. Fees.

The sign permit fee shall be as provided in the Uniform Building Code, adopted pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 1 of Title 8 of the Antioch Municipal Code.

Subsection (a) of § 503, §§ 603 and 703, subsection (a) of § 803, subsection (a) of § 903, subsection (a) of § 1003, subsection (a) of § 1103, and § 1201 of said Sign Code are hereby amended by adding the words “and Article 11 of Chapter 5 of Title 9 of the Antioch Municipal Code” thereto.

Any person violating any of the provisions of this article or the Sign Code shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and punished according to §§ 1-2.01 et seq. of this code.
