15.32.010 - Required.¶
All entrances to buildings and structures from the public streets of the city shall be numbered as provided in this chapter.

15.32.020 - Owner, occupant responsibilities.¶
The appropriate number of any entrance to any building shall be placed thereon within five days after the receipt by the owner, occupant, lessee, tenant or subtenant of such building or structure of a notice from the city clerk or designated officer of the number or numbers designated for such building or structure, and all numbers other than the numbers provided for in this chapter for the respective entrances shall be removed from every such entrance by the owner, occupant, lessee, tenant or subtenant thereof within five days from the service of such notice designating the appropriate numbers to be placed thereon. Such notice may be served by registered mail, certified mail or personally by the city clerk or designated officer.

15.32.030 - Size and location of numbers.¶
Approved address numbers shall be placed on all new and existing buildings in such a position as to be plainly visible and legible from the street or road fronting the property. Numbers shall contrast with their background and be not less than four inches in height.

15.32.040 - System designated.¶
The numbering system shall be a coordinate system wherein the streets running north and south shall constitute the Y coordinate, streets running east and west shall constitute the X coordinates with 1000 numbers per mile south to north and west to east and wherein Alexander Avenue and Third Street (County Road 36E) and continuations thereof shall constitute the 2000 X coordinate and the centerline of the Southern Pacific Railroad right-of-way constitutes the 4000 Y coordinate. Streets oriented north and south shall be numbered from south to north with even numbers on the west side of the streets and the odd numbers on the east side of such streets. Streets oriented east and west shall be numbered from west to east with even numbers on the north side and odd numbers on the south side of such streets.

15.32.050 - New allocations.¶
Numbers for new buildings and structures and subdivisions and for streets heretofore or to be hereinafter laid out shall be allocated by the city clerk after recommendation from the city planning commission.
