§ 8-14 REMOVAL OR DEFACEMENT OF OFFICIAL NOTICES, SIGNS OR PLACARDS

§ 8-14.1. Prohibited. [Ord. 696, § 1; 1958 Code § 3.1]¶
It shall be unlawful for any person to mutilate, remove, deface, destroy, tamper with or cause to be mutilated, removed, defaced, destroyed or tampered with any notice, sign or placard lawfully placed upon public or private property by any officer of the City in accordance with the duties of his office, the laws of the State and this Code and other ordinances of the City and the rules and regulations of the City.
§ 8-14.2. Reward. [Ord. 696, § 2; 1958 Code § 3.1]¶
Any officer of the City whose duties require placing of notices, signs or placards upon any property is hereby authorized to offer a reward not to exceed twenty-five ($25.00) dollars for information leading to the arrest and conviction of anyone violating this subsection.
