6-29.1 - Fresh Meat Coolers.

All meat markets must be equipped with a walk-in cold storage room of adequate dimensions. The interior of such cold storage room shall be of light color and have a glossy finish. Such equipment shall maintain a temperature below forty-five (45°) degrees Fahrenheit with sufficient circulation, and shall be installed in accordance with the provisions of the Plumbing Code.

6-29.2 - Live Chickens, Etc.; Where Kept.

It shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation to keep any live chickens, turkeys, ducks, geese, or live fowl or animals where foodstuffs are prepared for sale, or sold.

6-29.3 - Sale of Unwholesome Meat.

It shall be unlawful for any person to sell or offer for sale in the City any blown, diseased, tainted, or bad meat or fish, or the flesh of any animal which was, when killed, sick or diseased, or the flesh of any animal which died a natural or accidental death, or the flesh of any calf which was killed prior to its attaining the age of four (4) weeks.
