26-16.1 - Priority of Liens.

The lien of any assessments levied or bonds issued under this code or any law referred to herein shall be subordinate to all special assessment liens and the lien of the bonds previously imposed upon the same property, but shall have priority over all such liens subsequently imposed upon the same property.

26-16.2 - Duration of Liens.

All assessments, reassessments and bonds and each installment thereof, and the interest, costs and penalties upon same, shall continue as liens against the lots and parcels on which they were levied and imposed until they have been paid, but for a period not to exceed four (4) years after the due date of the principal thereof.
