.01 Magnetic/electronic reporting to IRS eliminates the need to submit copies of paper Forms W-4. .02 If part of the Forms W-4 are reported magnetically/electronically and the remainder are reported on paper forms, the paper Forms W-4 must be mailed to the appropriate service center.
