.01 The specifications contained in this part of the revenue procedure define the required format and content of the records to be included in the magnetic/electronic file. Use this revenue procedure to file Forms W-4 submitted for the quarter ending March 31, 2000 and all subsequent filings. .02 An external label must appear on each tape, tape cartridge and diskette submitted. Notice 1027 details what information must be on the label. The diskettes used must be MS/DOS compatible.
