Yuba City Municipal Code Ch. 1 Finance Department

There is hereby established a Finance Department.

The Finance Department shall be supervised by a Finance Director who shall be responsible to the City Manager.

The Finance Department shall be vested and charged with the following duties and responsibilities:

(a) To control all City revenue collections;

(b) To supervise the Water Office;

(c) To perform such other duties and functions as may be required by the Council or the City Manager; and

(d) To perform the accounting functions of the City for which the Finance Department is responsible.

In accordance with the provisions of Government Code §§ 40805.5 and 37209, the financial and accounting duties imposed upon the City Clerk pursuant to the provisions of Government Code §§ 40802 through 40805 are hereby transferred to the Finance Director.
